Safety, Occupational Health, Environment and Quality Policy


South American Drilling (SAD) is a company that provides Drilling, Workover, Well Services, and SWAB services, carrying out operations for various companies in the Hydrocarbons sector. It is committed to the safety and health of its workers, contractors, subcontractors, and visitors, as well as respect for the environment, communities, and the development of the country. The principles and commitments of the Integrated Management System (IMS) are part of our business and are as follows:

  • To establish, implement, and promote the identification of hazards and assessment of risks in Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality, establishing controls to prevent, eliminate, or mitigate them, in order to provide safe and healthy working conditions.
  • To comply with applicable current legislation and other commitments voluntarily assumed by the organization in matters of occupational safety and health, environment, and quality.
  • To develop competencies through training, instruction, and appropriate awareness-raising to encourage the participation of all workers and strengthen the organizational culture.
  • To maintain the active participation and consultation of workers and their representatives in the Integrated Management System.
  • To empower our workers, contractors, subcontractors, and visitors to intervene in any unsafe act or working condition, and to ensure that all are aware of their right to refuse work they consider unsafe, applying our Policy: "Task Suspension".
  • To establish objectives and goals that promote the continuous improvement of the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management System through integration, planning, implementation, control, and action-taking, thus ensuring sustainable growth and development.

Senior Management is committed to maintaining and periodically updating this Policy. Management, Department Heads, and Supervisors must disseminate and apply it at all levels. Likewise, employees, contractors, and others in general must put it into practice as part of their daily work within the organization.
